Clothes for the cover and a shooting date!

Love to you all. We´ve got plenty. Today SKILLA had meeting with the splendid photographer and person Azusa Itagaki. And we´re very happy about the ideas that spread in the athmosphere. You see, we are right now planning the shooting for the cover of the coming album. exiting.
Good news is that TJALLAMALLA a great clothing store in Malmö, Sweden, sponsored us with clothes to the cover! Thank you, we say, and smile.
Posters for the next gigs were sent out aswell today. Its a bit in the last minuite though..but they´re sent!:)


I am happy, sitting in my bed, writing on my computer and thinking about the shooting on sunday and the continuing recording on monday, tuesday and wednesday.

The tale of the Accordian and the forgotten cheese

It was the early morning of the date of today. The band SKILLA and the musicmagican Jonas Siöström were sitting in the car on their way to the yellow, submarine,  house.
We like food. Everyday we talk about food. Especially amanda, the drummer. This morning we were also talking about food, the breakfast. We eat breakfast everyday together in the studio. nice tradition.
anyway, we were getting closer to the studio, the terrein was very rough, it was snowing and blowing, but the talk about food escalated. mmm bread! mm.. coffe, avocado, tomatos, what about egg and mayo togheter with custard and , and and, cheese!
Yes what about the cheese?
it´s forgotten.. it´s at ninas tender mom and dads house.
And so we had to go all the way back again to get the breakfast. Luckily Elin, Jonas and Vanja stayed in the studio and started to work on DRESSED IN SNOW

the day when the pianotuner came

Someone on our facebook fanpage asked for a studiodiary. So , we came to think about what news from the studio by the sea, we could share with you.  First of all we are recordning 9 songs never recorded before. Those of you who has seen us live lately, might ofcourse have heard something, but otherwise this is new stuff from us, and we are really exiting to hear what you think about it.

Today its sunday and our third day in the studio. Vanja and Amanda has now made a fantastic work with putting the drums and the bass to the songs.  Me and the rest has eaten alot everyday, drinking heaps of coffe and pretended that we have been bicycling.

At eleven today the pianotuner came visit to fix a last thing on the grand piano before Elins recording.
We met him by the door to shake his hand. He was smiling, shook our hands politely and said, Hi you must be the "doa doa" choir.  That was nice.
